The Plane has landed

Phew, after 17 long hours on a plane, non-stop I made it to Bangkok. See Here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/19181078@N02/?saved=1

Thanks be to God for His hands guiding the plane 8679 miles safely.

VERY tired, but I wanted to share a couple of things before i go to bed 9:22 PM my time, 9:22 AM your time Monday.

The plane food was awesome. I felt like a king. There were multiple courses, 4 spoons, 3 forks, 2 knives, cloth napkins, free wine, brandy after the meal, stellar service on Thai Airlines and that wasnt even close to first class. I was in one class above coach, called economy plus. Here are some pics of the food on the plane: http://www.flickr.com/photos/19181078@N02/?saved=1

I got here and hooked up with a colleague, Karl, and we went and had a Thai boiled dinner. We didnt know what we were doing and people were looknig at us funny, but hey, it tasted good so we went with what felt right. Pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/19181078@N02/?saved=1

OK I am off to bed, I just wanted to let you know I have arrived. I am getting acclimated and I am ULTRA OOBER TIRED, so off to bed I go.

More to follow. . .

What are you thoughts on this saying that i just read on my free bottled water:

"Even as a solid rock is not shaken by the wind, so do the wise remain unmoved by praise or blame."

Jason, It is GREAT that we can be a part of your Journey....once you wake up, can you please post future pics right side up? :)

We're all sitting here looking sideways at your pics!

Okay...so your pictures are upside down, at least your heart is in the right place... :) Needless to say the fact tat you even had the capaicty to download pictures at all after that flight amazes me.

However... I don;t think people want to see pictures all teh way back to 2004...seems a little boring compared to pictures of Thailand :)

A boiled dinner huh? I am surprised that you and Karl even ate that...not knowing and all:) Kudos to both of you.

As far as the statement on the bottle...pretty profound for bottled water. Is it like a fortune cookie?...To me it means that pride and arrogance can get in the way of life if you allow it to...again, pretty intense for a bottled water :)

Love you and miss you and I want to see a picture of the plane when you get that fixed :)

Glad to see you got there safe, and enjoyed the plane ride...and the food.

You might prefer showing the actual link, and if you do it's your blog and ignore everything I'm about to type. Here's a hint about inserting a link, but not actually showing it the long address, in case you are wondering.

Place the blinking cursor where you want to insert a link. Click on the chain link type picture right above the text box and to the right of the italic button. It will bring up a little screen- put the address in there. Click okay. Look for where it put the link and between the and insert a word that is part of the sentence for people to click on. In this case if people click on and it will bring them to the link. If you want the website to pop up in a new tab/window, after the link is in the text window write target="blank" at the end right after the address and before the >

Now that I write all this - I believe your a computer wiz, and probably know exactly how to do it if you want. Did I mention I speak gibberish! :D
